This role focuses on supporting regulatory compliance within a wealth management environment by monitoring and assessing regulatory developments, particularly those affecting investment and advisory services. Key responsibilities include conducting horizon scanning to identify upcoming regulatory changes, interpreting their impact on the business, and assisting with the implementation of new requirements. The position also involves preparing clear and concise communications for stakeholders and senior management, contributing to compliance monitoring and testing activities, producing management information and reports, and ensuring business projects are delivered in line with regulatory expectations.

The ideal candidate will have at least two years of experience within wealth management, private banking, or the broader financial services sector. They should possess a strong understanding of FCA regulations, particularly COBS, and be confident in analysing regulatory change and communicating its practical implications to different audiences. A solid understanding of investment products and services is also required, alongside the ability to support compliance initiatives and work collaboratively across the business to maintain regulatory standards.
