Our client, a leading asset manager, are currently looking for an experienced marketing manager to join their team on a 3 month contract.
Location: London (3 days on site in the West End)
Day Rate: £350 - £400 (PAYE)
Responsibilities

Lead end‑to‑end marketing project management for major events and strategic initiatives, including planning, stakeholder coordination, content development, on‑brand execution, and post‑event follow‑up.

Manage communications and engagement activities for next‑generation client programmes, ensuring messaging is relevant, consistent and aligned with broader strategic priorities.

Oversee the rollout of brand updates across key client and marketing touchpoints, coordinating materials updates, ensuring visual and verbal consistency, and maintaining clear progress tracking.

Review, simplify and standardise investment and product content, translating technical information into clear, client‑friendly messaging and partnering with subject‑matter experts and compliance to ensure accuracy and approval.

Develop and refine content structures, templates and libraries to improve clarity, consistency and usability for client‑facing teams.

Provide senior‑level marketing project oversight, managing timelines, approvals, budgets and stakeholder expectations while ensuring all outputs meet brand, legal and compliance standards.

Prepare concise reporting, KPIs, status updates and recommendations for senior management and key stakeholders.
Requirements

7–10 years’ experience in marketing, ideally within asset management.

Strong track record in project‑based marketing roles, including delivery of investment or client events, brand or rebranding initiatives, and investment product or fund‑related materials.

Solid understanding of investment content (funds, strategies, markets) with the ability to simplify complex information for non‑specialist audiences.

Proven experience working within a regulated environment and managing compliance and legal approval processes.

Comfortable operating in a senior marketing role, engaging confidently with senior stakeholders.

Demonstrated ability to manage complex, multi‑stakeholder projects with clear outcomes, timelines and governance.

Experience working in global or matrixed organisations is advantageous.
