This is a hands-on position focused on the planning, coordination and delivery of events across multiple formats. Working closely with colleagues across marketing, communications and corporate functions, you will play a key role in ensuring events are delivered seamlessly and to the highest standard.

The opportunity would suit an organised and proactive events professional looking to build their career within a prestigious corporate environment, with significant exposure to senior stakeholders and high-profile programmes.

The successful candidate will be involved in:

  • Coordinating the end-to-end delivery of internal and external events across the business
  • Managing relationships with venues, caterers and other event suppliers to ensure successful execution
  • Supporting the planning of conferences, networking events, hospitality programmes and corporate gatherings
  • Working with internal stakeholders to manage event logistics, attendance and scheduling requirements
  • Coordinating marketing and communications activity related to events and programmes
  • Producing and managing event collateral, including signage, badges, place cards and supporting materials
  • Acting as an on-site point of contact to ensure events run smoothly and resolve any issues quickly
  • Managing event calendars and booking schedules across multiple locations and venues
  • Monitoring budgets, processing event-related administration and supporting spend reconciliation
  • Gathering event feedback, measuring outcomes and maintaining post-event reporting
  • Supporting a variety of ad hoc projects and initiatives as business requirements evolve

The ideal candidate should have:

  • Previous experience in events coordination, event management or administration roles
  • Experience within financial services, professional services or a corporate environment would be advantageous
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • High attention to detail and a commitment to delivering a first-class experience
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Familiarity with event management platforms such as Cvent or similar tools
  • Ability to build relationships with both internal stakeholders and external suppliers
  • A proactive and solution-oriented approach to problem solving
  • Professional judgement and discretion when handling confidential information
  • A positive, collaborative attitude and willingness to support wider team initiatives
