A well-established organisation within the London Market insurance sector is seeking a Senior Compliance Executive to support its Compliance function in delivering effective oversight of Consumer Duty, Conduct Risk and broader regulatory compliance requirements. This role will play a key part in ensuring strong customer outcomes, a positive conduct culture, and adherence to applicable regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Compliance leadership team in the oversight of Consumer Duty, Conduct Risk and regulatory compliance activities across the business.
- Assist in the ongoing development, implementation and monitoring of Consumer Duty frameworks, ensuring evidence of positive customer outcomes.
- Help identify, assess and report conduct risks and associated regulatory obligations.
- Coordinate annual governance and attestation processes, ensuring actions are appropriately tracked and completed.
- Contribute to the development and delivery of the Compliance Plan, providing updates on progress, key risks and regulatory developments.
- Prepare and support Board and Committee reporting across Consumer Duty, Conduct Risk, Complaints and other compliance-related areas.
- Analyse complaints data and management information to identify trends, root causes and opportunities for improvement.
- Provide practical compliance guidance on areas including Consumer Duty, conduct risk, complaints handling, fair value assessments and customer communications.
- Support compliance monitoring reviews, thematic assessments and assurance activities.
- Monitor emerging regulatory developments and assess potential business impacts.
- Develop effective working relationships with stakeholders across compliance, risk, governance and operational teams.
Key Requirements
- Strong knowledge of FCA Consumer Duty requirements, Conduct Risk principles and the UK regulatory environment.
- Experience in a Compliance, Conduct Risk, Governance or Regulatory role within the Lloyd's and/or wider insurance market.
- Ability to interpret regulatory requirements and translate them into practical business solutions.
- Experience producing compliance reports, management information, policies and regulatory documentation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify themes, risks and recommendations from data.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at varying levels of seniority.
- Well-organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Relevant compliance, risk or insurance qualifications (or progress towards them) would be advantageous.
