An international asset management firm is looking to appoint an Sales Support & Client Services Associate to support its growing institutional business across the APAC region. Working closely with senior sales and client relationship professionals, this position offers broad exposure across both business development and client servicing activities.

This is a highly varied role that sits at the centre of the client lifecycle, supporting institutional investors across a range of investment products and solutions. You will play a key role in ensuring a seamless client experience while assisting with fundraising initiatives, client communications and reporting requirements.

The opportunity would suit an ambitious individual looking to build a long-term career within asset management, offering significant exposure to senior stakeholders, institutional clients and a broad range of investment capabilities.

The successful candidate will be involved in:

• Supporting senior sales and client relationship professionals with day-to-day client and prospect activity
• Acting as a key contact for client enquiries and coordinating responses across internal teams
• Preparing meeting materials, market research and briefing documents ahead of client and prospect meetings
• Coordinating and contributing to RFPs, DDQs and new business proposals
• Producing client reports, portfolio reviews and presentation materials for institutional investors
• Assisting with client onboarding, ongoing account maintenance and servicing activities
• Monitoring and maintaining CRM records to ensure accurate client and pipeline information
• Delivering portfolio performance analysis and competitor research to support client discussions and business development activity
• Coordinating internal meetings, events and client engagement initiatives
• Building strong working relationships across investment, legal, compliance, operations and marketing teams
• Supporting a range of internal reporting and project-based initiatives as required
• Helping ensure all client-related activity is delivered in line with regulatory and compliance requirements

The ideal candidate should have:

• Experience within asset management in a client service, sales support, reporting, RFP or product-related role
• Excellent English and Mandarin or Cantonese communication skills, both written and verbal
• Strong understanding of institutional investment products and the wider asset management industry
• Experience preparing client-facing presentations, reports and business development materials
• Strong analytical skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Good working knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint and database management tools
• Experience using CRM systems, ideally Salesforce
• Ability to manage multiple priorities within a fast-paced environment
• Strong organisational and project management capabilities
• Confidence interacting with senior stakeholders and institutional clients
• A collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively across multiple teams
• Knowledge of investment data and performance systems such as FactSet or Morningstar would be advantageous
