Performance / Growth Marketer (Google Ads)
1) Responsibilities
- Own the strategy, execution, and optimisation of paid search campaigns across Google Ads to drive high-quality lead generation and customer acquisition.
- Manage campaign setup, keyword research, audience targeting, ad copy testing, bid strategies, and budget allocation.
- Monitor and improve key performance metrics including CTR, CPC, CPA, conversion rate, lead quality, and return on ad spend (ROAS).
- Develop and execute ongoing A/B tests across ad creatives, landing pages, audiences, and campaign structures.
- Analyse campaign performance and produce regular reports with actionable insights and recommendations.
- Work closely with product, content, and creative teams to develop compelling customer acquisition campaigns.
- Ensure accurate tracking and attribution through Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and conversion tracking tools.
- Identify new growth opportunities across Google Search, Display, Performance Max, and remarketing channels.
- Maintain strong governance of budgets while maximising marketing efficiency and customer acquisition outcomes.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, platform updates, and emerging digital marketing best practices.
2) Requirements
- 4+ years of hands-on experience managing Google Ads campaigns with a strong focus on performance marketing and lead generation.
- Proven track record of delivering measurable growth through paid search campaigns.
- Strong understanding of Google Ads, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, conversion tracking, and attribution modelling.
- Experience managing substantial advertising budgets and optimising towards CPA, ROI, or revenue targets.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
- Experience conducting keyword research, audience segmentation, bid management, and campaign optimisation.
- Strong understanding of landing page optimisation and conversion rate optimisation (CRO) principles.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets and marketing reporting tools.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple priorities, and deliver results independently.
- Experience within financial services, fintech, banking, or other regulated industries is desirable but not essential.
- Google Ads certifications would be advantageous.
