We're working with a chartered, award-winning IFA practice in Manchester that backs its administrators with real exam support and genuine career development - not a token benefit, but part of how they grow their people. They're looking for an experienced IFA Administrator who wants genuine ownership of cases, not just a slice of one.

The role

You'll provide full administrative support to a team of Financial Advisers, managing cases end-to-end from new business through to servicing and annual reviews. It's a varied role - Letters of Authority, illustrations, fund switches, fee processing and the ongoing upkeep of Intelliflo all sit with you. Your key areas of focus will include:

  • Progressing new business and fund switches from instruction through to completion, chasing providers so cases don't stall.
  • Managing servicing requests - from basic client updates to death claims - with the same care and accuracy throughout.
  • Keeping Intelliflo current with every transactional element of a client's portfolio, so advisers always have an accurate picture.
  • Producing portfolio summaries and valuations and supporting ongoing suitability processing after review meetings.
  • Helping clients get comfortable with a new client portal as it launches, guiding them through onboarding and queries.

Our client is looking for someone who's genuinely done this job before - you'll know the rhythm of new business processing, the discipline AML procedures demand, and what good client service looks like from the back office. Specifically, you'll be able to demonstrate:

  • Previous experience as an IFA Administrator, comfortable across pensions, investments and protection.
  • A strong working knowledge of new business and servicing processes, from illustrations through to fund switches.
  • High attention to detail and the organisational discipline to manage multiple cases against service level agreements.
  • Confident written and verbal communication with clients, advisers and providers alike.
  • Experience with Intelliflo or a similar back-office platform would be an advantage, though not essential.
