Exposure Management Lead

The Opportunity

A well-capitalised Lloyd's-focused MGA is seeking an experienced Exposure Management Lead to join at an early and genuinely influential stage of its growth journey.

This is a rare opportunity to build an exposure management function from the ground up within an entrepreneurial underwriting platform that is attracting highly regarded market talent across specialty lines.

You will become the first dedicated exposure management hire, taking ownership of modelling capabilities, portfolio analytics, aggregation management and exposure reporting across the business.

The role is expected to evolve into a central resource serving multiple underwriting teams as the MGA expands.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead all exposure management activities for existing portfolios.
• Develop and implement exposure management frameworks, controls and reporting capabilities.
• Build portfolio monitoring and aggregation reporting processes.
• Support underwriting teams with portfolio analysis, modelling and performance insights.
• Work closely with capacity providers and key stakeholders on exposure-related discussions.
• Assist in the design and implementation of systems, workflows and operational processes.
• Provide catastrophe modelling and portfolio management expertise.
• Support future business classes as the MGA expands beyond Property.
• Contribute to strategic decision-making around portfolio growth and risk appetite.
• Play a key role in building a scalable exposure management function.

Required Experience

• Significant experience within Exposure Management, Catastrophe Modelling or Portfolio Analytics.
• Strong Lloyd's and London Market understanding.
• Comfortable working directly with underwriters and senior stakeholders.
• Previous involvement in building or enhancing exposure management processes.
• Experience within syndicates, carriers, MGAs or brokers considered.
