Java Full Stack Developer | 12-Month Contract 

Location: Glasgow (onsite) 
Start: ASAP 

We’re looking for an experienced Java Full Stack Developer for a 12-month contract building scalable, cloud-native enterprise applications in an agile team.

What you’ll be doing

• Designing and building full stack applications with Java, Spring Boot and React or Angular
• Developing secure, scalable microservices and REST APIs
• Working with cloud-native technologies on AWS
• Collaborating with architects, BAs and stakeholders
• Code reviews, testing, performance tuning and production support

What you’ll need

• Strong Java 17+ and Spring Boot experience
• Microservices architecture
• React or Angular, plus JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5 and CSS3
• AWS
• Kafka
• Docker and Kubernetes
• SQL databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL or MySQL)
• CI/CD (Git, Jenkins) and monitoring/observability tools

Nice to have

• Banking or financial services experience
• OAuth2/JWT and API security
• Terraform or CloudFormation
• Event-driven architecture
