Our client is an established International Bank with a branch in Dubai. The branch has big growth plans and are looking for Internal Auditors who would be interested in relocating to the region. This is a generalist role but initially would focus on Finance, Treasury and Prudential areas. Please note that this role would require relocation to Dubai.

You will be joining a collaborative team of 7, which means your work is visible and have influence on the audit function and wider business. This is a broad role, which will have a genuined impact

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and deliver end-to-end internal audits across finance, treasury and prudential risk areas
  • Support the development and execution of the annual audit plan
  • Assess the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls, governance and risk management frameworks
  • Produce clear, concise and commercially focused audit reports with actionable recommendations
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders across the business
  • Present audit findings to senior management with confidence and credibility
  • Contribute to continuous improvement within the internal audit function
  • Remain flexible to support audits outside of core specialism where required

Skillset

  • Proven internal audit experience within banking
  • Strong understanding of finance, treasury and/or prudential risk frameworks
  • Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, evolving environment
  • Confident communicator with strong stakeholder management skills
  • Comfortable challenging senior stakeholders and influencing outcomes
  • Willingness to take on a broad range of audits beyond core expertise
  • Relevant professional qualification such as ACA, ACCA, CIA or equivalent preferred
