You’ll play an important role in supporting the day-to-day finance function, maintaining accurate financial records and building relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

· Reconcile account statements and investigate discrepancies, ensuring outstanding items are researched and resolved promptly.

· Complete monthly reconciliations across a range of accounts, working with both manual and automated processes.

· Identify, record and report reconciliation findings, ensuring all financial information is accurate and up to date.

· Set up payments through online banking systems.

· Review financial transactions and reports, checking calculations and data entries for accuracy.

· Follow established financial policies, procedures and relevant legislative requirements.

· Respond to queries and provide support to internal teams, customers and external stakeholders.

· Build and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues and external contacts.

· Contribute to high standards of accuracy, service delivery and continuous improvement.

About You

· Strong attention to detail, with a methodical and organised approach to work.

· Good numerical, analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to investigate and resolve discrepancies.

· Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.

· Good organisational and planning skills, with the ability to manage workloads and meet deadlines.

· Confident communicating with people at different levels, both internally and externally.

· A proactive attitude, with the confidence to ask questions and seek support when needed.

The Opportunity

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their career within finance and accounts, gaining hands-on experience in reconciliations, payment processing and financial administration within a supportive team environment.

If you’re detail-focused, comfortable working with numbers and looking for your next opportunity in accounts administration, we’d love to hear from you.
