Prime Brokerage Risk Manager | London

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Prime Brokerage Risk professional to join a growing and highly entrepreneurial financial services platform in London.

This is a front-office aligned role with significant exposure to hedge fund and institutional clients, offering responsibility across risk management, margin methodologies, portfolio analysis, and client engagement. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting a growing prime brokerage business and helping shape its risk framework and infrastructure.

What we're looking for:

• Recent experience within Prime Brokerage, Equities Financing, Prime Services or a related risk function
• Strong understanding of clearing models, margin methodologies and financing structures
• Experience monitoring portfolio exposures and analysing risk across hedge fund and institutional client portfolios
• Able to interpret data, challenge assumptions and clearly articulate risk models and methodologies
• Hands-on individual who can quickly establish credibility and operate with limited supervision
• Previous experience within a bank or established prime brokerage platform is advantageous
• Python and/or SQL skills would be beneficial, but this is not a heavily quantitative role
