Marine Technician

A well-respected Lloyd's Broker is seeking a Marine Technician to join its growing Marine team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a technical insurance professional with previous Marine Insurance exposure to join a highly regarded business during an exciting period of growth. The successful candidate will support the administration, processing and servicing of Marine business, working closely with brokers, clients and insurers to ensure the smooth handling of accounts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Processing Marine insurance business in line with Lloyd's and London Market procedures.
  • Managing premium processing and technical administration duties.
  • Preparing and maintaining accurate policy documentation and records.
  • Processing renewals, endorsements and adjustments.
  • Market loading and system updates.
  • Liaising with brokers, underwriters and clients to resolve technical queries.
  • Supporting the wider Marine team with day-to-day operational activities.
  • Ensuring all work is completed accurately and within agreed service standards.

About You

To be considered for this position, you will have:

  • Previous experience in a Technical Insurance, Marine Technician, Premium Processing, Broker Support or Operations role.
  • Marine Insurance exposure is essential.
  • Understanding of Lloyd's and London Market processes would be advantageous.
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Ability to manage workloads effectively within a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Candidates with experience across Marine Cargo, Hull, Freight, Logistics or other Marine classes are encouraged to apply.
